One of my most favorite things is when I get to photograph the beautiful mom to be and their little newborn babe as well. I just love seeing these family coming together.

After doing Keaira’s maternity photoshoot around 30 weeks, I couldn’t wait to meet her soon to be here baby boy.

*Pro Tip* The best time to book a Maternity Photoshoot is in the second trimester and have the shoot between 28-35 weeks.

Armon was a little fussy at first, but once mom took a few moments to feed him and I got him swaddled up nice and tight, he was ready to go. Having already had a consultation call with Keaira about what she wanted the photoshoot to look like, we went with some white, rust, and sage green pieces.

Something extra special about this shoot is that Armon is a Rainbow Baby and whenever I get a Rainbow Baby in my studio, I try to incorporate it into the shoot as a little extra something special. His mom loved it!

*Pro Tip* Newborns are best to photograph between 5-14 days(at this time they are still very sleepy and easily posed).

Something I want to mention, and that I highly encourage, is to try and get parents and siblings in the photographs as well. I don’t charge extra for this and believe when I tell you that you will not regret getting a few family pictures as well.

When Keaira was able to view the photographs, she was absolutely blown away. She loved every single one of them! She ordered a few custom artwork and heirloom pieces to display in her home and to have for future generations.

This was an incredible session with an incredible family. I just love my job!
